Trapsolve

Trapsolve is a solid state gas-generating drain-unblocker which is much more convenient to handle and which is far more concentrated than similar products in liquid form.  Besides clearing blocked pipes of fats, fabric and paper it has the added benefit that it discourages re-growth of plant roots which block conduits. 

When hot run-off water is vented the suspended molten oils, fats and waxes condense on cool run-off conduits changing from the liquefied form to a more solid one and these are inclined to stick to the pipe’s inner surface which then builds up and results in drain blocking.

Trapsolve saponifies the fats and greases.  In the process of saponification, oils, fats and greases are made water miscible. The addition of a trivalent metallic element causes the generation of a considerable volume of gas which greatly assists in forcing out the restriction.
